Retired teacher made £1million in secret on the stock market

Margaret Dickson Scottish pensioner who worked as a primary teacher and also police officer surprises her family by leaving £1.1 million to charities when she died after secretly playing the stock market. 

Her estate included £63,000 of share in Marks and Spencer, £62,000 in British American Tobacco and £230,000 invested in the Government-backed saving scheme National Savings and Investments.  

It fascinate me how people win money very fast without doing anything, just playing and having some luck. But as well this kind of thing is dangerous because a lot of people had loosened all his money and all their proprieties. You have to be very careful with this, you have to invest money leftover and the most important thing is that you have to be very informed.

Dear John- film review

This film is one of my favorite film, I've see it a lot of times but although I could look it a thousand times more because I love this film. It's talks about John and Savanah two young people who meet by accident. They met on the beach in Florida, and from that moment begins a friendship. At the begging they were only friends but with the time they fall in love and they star a relationship, but the problem was that John works in the armed, and he had to go to the war. They began to write letters because they they bearly ever saw each other, and they missed each other a lot. But with the time John and Savanah start to reorganized their life and began to forget each other. John stay in the armed, and Savanah married with other guy. Finally john back home, and he decided to go see Savanah and when he saw that Savanah has married and she had changes her life, he became so sad, but with the time all changes again, because Savanah lose her husband and she and John try to get back to the relationship that they had years ago.

Summer 2014

I'm looking forward to summer and I've got a lot of plans.

One of them is work!! This will be the third year that I work during the summer.

On one hand I like to work because I will win some money and aswell because I will can do a lot of things.

However on the other hand, I don't like it because I can't spend the time that I want with my friends and I can't go out a lot to parties because I start at eight o'clock in the morning,

This summer I think that it will be my summer because I'm 18 now, and I will can do a lot of things that I can't did the lasts summers. (I will have the driver licence)

My objective for this summer is finish the selectivitat with a good mark, forget all the thing  that are related with the school and achive my driving permis to go to everywhere with my friends and my boyfriend.

I've got a lot of good feelings about this summer, so I hope that it will be so amazing that I'll never forget. 

My English competence 2014

In this post I will talk about my best evidence written and my best eevydence oral presentation.

“Humour in my country is important like every where but on the street, you don't see people happy when they are walking alone and in my opinion this is sad because it means that they are not happy, they are just living. 

Firts of all, for me, humour is very important in our lives, when we are sad, just a sentence with a bit of humour it can make us happy. 

Secondly if we live without humour our life will be sad, always the same, just work and make moeny. 

 

In conclusion humor makes our lives happier and longer, without humor we would be angry every day and our face would be always sad, so jokes, humour and laughther are very important to live well.” 

I’ve chosen this composition as the best because I think that a little bit of humor it’s always good. I’ve love this topic because it makes me see that live it’s not always bad, sad and tired. And in these times we are living only humor will save us. 

 I’ve used a quite good redaction with good paragraphs whit linking words.

In this riting I’m trying to help people seeing that humor it’s very important in our lives, also I can say that’s it’s a way of live. 

My best oral presentations I think that it’s my last one, and it’s the one that talks about my TDR project. I’ve improved my pronunciation and my fluency compared with my first oral presentation. I was explaining my project and it was quite easy because I have explained a lot of hours doing it.

My English progress from 2012-2014.

In this post I will compare my first batxillerat composition that was an email to the teacher and my last one. And also I will compare my first oral presentation and the last one that was my TDR project. 

An e-mail to the teacher:

“ I just start the new curs of high school. I’m excited and at the same time a bit afraid. These next two courses will be really hard, I need to study and work a lot. 

I love to travel and I really need to know and discovered the world, it’s my passion. 

I will love to visit Berlin, London, New York, Belgium, Holland, Australia, Russia, Marrakech, Dubai…

Still now I’m not sure of what to study, I like criminology, but I have to keep looking of what to do, what I know is that I want to finish my studies in another country to be better witch my languages. 

I want to study German, French and English. I will like to talk all this languages quite well.”

It was my first composition and I have read it again and I have seen with my first and my last composition there are a lot of different and I’m very proud about it.  I have improved a lot in vocabulary and in grammar and also with the adjectives. I’ve learned a lot of new connectors and how to use it. As well now I do longest compositions with some different arguments. And also I think that the maturity of my ideas had also improved.

Regarding my first and last oral presentations I have seen a lot of differences. Now I feel more confident in front of my classmates, then I was very shy. Also I have improved my pronunciation and my tone of voice. But one thing it haven’t change and it’s that I’ve never liked doing oral presentations because I’m shy and a little bit insecure in front of my classmates, but now I do it quite better than before.

Small seals in Russia

In Saint Petersburg there is a rehabilitation center for babay sels suffering from pollution and climate change. A lot of the members where fighting for the life of one that was covered in oil and he survive. 

he is very attached to people and they are working hard to detach him from people.

This center has been working since 2007 and have rescued more then 20 baby sels.

In my opinion this types of projects are very good because they fight with the climatic changes and all the pollution that affects to the most helpless animals. This plan has already helped a lot of seals and still they will help a lot more. In the future I will like to do a voluntary work in a place like that, for example helping animals with problems and how are endangered.

Girl cannot take her hand out of a drain

A little gir in China put his hand in a drain and had to be rescued  by firefighter. Using a hydraulic tool and lubricants, they managed to pull her hand out of the grill.

In my opinion this things can success to everybody because all when we are little we are touching everything and we want to play with all the things we can. So this news it’s not an strange case. But its good the idea that everybody on the street tried to help her, because that it means that still people help each other because when I’m walking on the street I see that everybody is on their own things and without never mind other people, and news like that make me see that we are still humans and we “love” each other.
