Night of my live

Lately I watch Jersey Shore with my friends nearly every day, is a MTV reality show about eight people who live together in summer, they're crazy. They drink a lot (alcohol), go party everyday, have multiple fights and they have sex with some people who don't know or who meet in a party. It's funny to watch but I don't think that I can live like them.
I found a song by Puly D, one of the characters of Jersey Shore. And I can't stop listening to it, makes me wanna dance and go on a party.

Stopping cancer's spread: New protein found to control cancer metastasis

One of the scariest aspects of receiving a cancer diagnosis is learning how far the disease has spread throughout the body.  An individual’s prognosis can vary greatly depending on the extent of the cancer’s progression - if it has spread too much, modern treatments can do little to stop it.

But now, researchers have found a critical element that may explain why some cancers spread farther and faster than others – a discovery that could lead to treatments capable of containing the disease.

Scientists from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine have identified a protein that seems to serve as a switch, regulating the spread of cancer from the primary tumor to distant spots in the body – a process known as metastasis.  The protein is used by embryo cells during early development, but then disappears from the body after an individual comes out of the womb.

According to the scientists, the protein was only found in people who had metastatic cancer.

In my opinion its fantastic that scientst study  hard and a lot to find a cansers solution, because in this moment a lot of people suffers this terrible disease, and in futer it can go more and more. So I'm so happy that people ara trying to find solutions for this disease and I wish that in future this disease have an antidote for stop it.

Mean Girls

Cady is 16 and she returned to the USA after residing in Africa for twelve years with her parents. Then she started high school for the first time and it was very strange for her. She had new friends, Janis and Damien who explained to her the most important things to know.

She is warned to avoid the school's most exclusive group, the Plastics, the reigning trio of girls led by the queen bee Regina George. The Plastics take an interest in Cady and Janis hatches a plan to get revenge on Regina, using Cady to infiltrate the Plastics.

 At first the plan goes well but then Cady becomes like Regina, she is grateful for her new friends. Janis and Damien get angry with her because she betrays them.

Finally, in the Queen Bees dancing she realizes that she didn’t do the correct things and Janis and Damien forgive her.

Avatars ease voices for schizophrenia patients

Use of an avatar can help treat patients with schizophrenia who hear voices, a UK study.

Using customised computer software, the patients created avatars to match the voices they had been hearing.

After up to six therapy sessions most patients said their voice had improved. Three said it had stopped entirely.

The study was led by psychiatrist emeritus professor Julian Leff, who spoke to patients through their on-screen avatars in therapy sessions. Gradually he coached patients to stand up to their voices.

 By the end of their treatment, patients reported that they heard the voices less often and that they were less distressed by them. Levels of depression and suicidal go down and people feel better and more safe.

                                        

First gay marriage cuple in France

 
Two men will become the first gay couple to get married in France, just days after President Francois Hollande signed the same-sex marriage bill into law.

Vincent Austin and Bruno Boileau will tie the knot in the southern city of Montpellier with a lot of high security.

Mr Hollande has warned he will not accept any disruption to the ceremony.

The new legislation has proved controversial and sparked violent protests.

The anti-gay marriage lobby, backed by the Catholic Church and conservative opposition, argues the bill undermines an essential building block of society.

In my opinion I think that is good that this law has been legalized because I think that people its free to do what they want and to be marriage with the people that they love, it dosen't care if its two boys or two girls. The only important thing is love and happines!

Australia ranked 'happiest' developed nation again

Australia has been ranked the world's happiest nation betwen developed economies for the third year.

Sweden, Canada, Norway and Switzerland were alson in the top five happiest nation.

Australia's economy has had more than two decades of growth for the demand of his products and all his destinations. More than the 73% have a well paid job and lives really good.

In general, Australians are more satisfied with their lives, with 84 per cent of people saying they have more positive experiences in normal day (feelings, enjoyment, ...) than negative ones (pain, worry, sadness, boredom, ...)                      

                                           

                                     

Oral presentation, self evaluation

• Presentation: we use a prezi, I think that the topic was interesting and new because I think that I never think about this.
• Body language and eye contact: I think that I was looking at my audience and I haven´t read any thing.
• Structure: we have an extructure and an index, so I think that it waas all good organizated.
• Content: I think that it was interesting and we spend a lot of tome to found the information.
• Language: in my opinion the gramar was correct bust we probably have done some mistakes. W can improved.
• Pronunciation: I think that my pronuntation its good but I have to keep working it.
• Self-evaluation: for the next presentation I will try to improve my pronunciation, my body language and  my eye contact because wen I talk in front of a lot of people I'm really shy.

Shopping habits

Shopping is the favourite honny of a lot of people.

Sometimes it's a spending spce, looking for cheper goods, or just browsing.

All the population incluyes in this popular pastime.

Men over 50 now outspend women of the same age, because of their love of gadpets, and it's estimated that two to eight percent of adults are adicted to shopping.                        

                                                     

Body language

Body language can be very informative, but if you jump to conclusions when you interpret a particular gesture you may misinterpret what it means.

For example, people who look away to avoid eye may not necessarily be lying: they could just be shy.

 

To undertand body language, we need to observe a combination of behaviour that a person displaus. With lying, for example, look out for any or all of: avoidance eye contact, going red...    

Barcelona

Last week I went to Barcelona with my friend Tura.Wwent there by train. When we arrived the cousin of Tura was waiting for us. 

Then we went to a Mexican restaurant and we had lunch there, it was all really nice. When we finished eating we went shopping. We found some really nice clothes.

I bought tow pairs of shoes, some t-shirts and some troussers.

It was time to get the underground and then the train to go back home. The cousin of Tura came with us to the underground and we said good bye to her and thanks fo all!

We had a really good time and we learned a lot of new things and what to do in a city.

Cadaqués

Last day we were in Cadaqués and we found a restaurant near the sea. We looked at the menu of the restaurant and we liked it a lot. It all looked very appetizing and the smells came from the kitchen was fantastic.

We sat at the table, I chose the steamed fish with herbs, which i expected to have quite a new flavour. My sister's meal was chicken soup which was delicious.

When we finished eating, we went to the beach. There we sunbathed and we swam a lot. Then we took the boat and we went back home.

The night in Formentera

We were tired of school ans we needed a break down so we decided to do a get on a boat, Paula drove it. When we arrived to Formentera we get off the boat. Then we went to the camping, we looked though and we choosed a bongalow. There we found that we had a really nice neighbours from Belgium and Australia. After we made up an excuse and we went to say hello to them. They sorted out a plain for the night.

In the night we met them and we went to a restaurant on the beach and we had a party there.

When the sun came up, we went to the bongalow and we fall asleep. When we woke up, all of ours bags were stollened, ours neighbours came to our bongalow and help us to work out to find all of ours bags. We found yhat in the tent of a young men. We called the police and they arrested him.

Pablo Picasso

Picasso is a great artist who worked in a variety of differents styles, some realistic and others irealistic.

He desenvoloped a wide range of paintings techniques. He usually painted ussimg oils, but he liked to vary things and sometimes used works of art.

He loved to paint people, and produced a beautiful painting of his mother . Many people believe that his real masterpice was Guernica, which he painted during the Spanish civil war. In the past, the painting was on drawings in exhibitions all over the world, but it is now permanently in Madrid.

Insomnia: how to get a good night's sleep

Many people suffer from insomnia. They may not be able to fall aslep others may wake up during the night and not fall back to sleep again; or they may wake up too early in the morning.

• Is it a serious problem? 

No, no really, but if you suffer a sleeping problem it can make you deel     tired, depressed and sad. It can also make it hard to go on on your work during the day.

• How much sleep do I need?

Adults need 7-8 hours a night. If you feel tired during the day, you aren't getting enough sleep at night. However, sleep hours may change with age. For example, older people may sleep less at night but have slept during the day.

Germany

Dear James, 

I'm glad to know that you and your family are good.

I'm in Berlin and I'm on holidays here, I  will stay here 3 weeks. I'm in the house of my friend Maria. Her house is really nice and very comfortablñe I like it a lot, I recomendo you to come here with us hahah!

I've visited a lot of monuments, my favourite one is the wall of Berlin, its really big and gorgeous.

Tomorrow we will go to the biggest electrofestival of all Germany, I'm really nearvous and happy for that, I think that Maria and me will have a really good time.

They'r language is really complicated but all of the speak english.

I hope to see you again, lot os kisses.

Easter

Easter day is a good day because all the family is together and they have fun.

 

I like it because it's a traditional that someone of your family has to buy a cacke and a pice of chocolate and I love chocolate.

I like it as well because I'm with my family and I have fun with them.The youngest children are the ones who have a greatest time because they play and they get nice presents.

A beach description

This place is quiet beautiful and crowded.

It's a good place for sunbathing and swiming.

There is a lot of people but they're look very relaxed and they are having fun.

In the foreground we can see a palm and in the background we can see a lot of sailing boats.

Last day

Last day I was with my friend Maria at my place.We where talking and having fun. But 2 hours before we were bored and we decided to make a cake. 
 
We love chocolate and we dicided to make a chocolate cake.

We went to the supermarmarket and we bought nutella and flour for cakes. 

Then we went to my home and we made the cake.

I've made the cake with Maria ans my sister Jana.

 

It was really nice the cake but with one piece we had enough. We had a really good time all together!

Back to love

Come back to love its one of my favourites song. The song talks about how to love, how to doit right and how to love someone another time. My favourite phrase is: "can you feel it all that space in between us I know you can feel it I miss you just a little too much" It makes me think about all the persons that I've met and that now they are not with me, that friends come and go, but true friends and family are always here, just for you.
